occatu.com
Occatu's challenge was to change the perception of its customers and leads, so that they would see it as a more modern and technological company.

The website should adhere to certain visual identity requirements, demonstrating robustness and modernity. The visual impact should be significant in showcasing the transition between the old and new websites, utilizing more advanced technological resources.
Occatu, formerly known as Fábrica Biológica, is a company with over 20 years of experience in low-carbon consulting and strategies. In 2024, it decided to invest in a SaaS platform to increase its service capacity, which necessitated a new market positioning, and a new website was essential, given that the company operates remotely.

Deliverables and indicators
The main goal of the project was to make the new website available so that the company could begin its new online positioning, as this took into account other points of contact such as social media.
The company did not have access to the old website's access metrics, and we were unable to define a metric for comparison.
Process
This process followed a project timeline with the most common steps for web design, such as briefing, content creation, wireframes, visualization, and launch.
Discovery
A briefing was held with the client, followed by benchmarking and analysis of visual aspects that were validated with stakeholders.
Ideation
A process of content hierarchy and inventory was carried out, as well as low-fidelity wireframes for validation with the client.
Design
The visual concept was created in Figma based on the visual identity and project requirements. The remaining web design was done directly on the front-end, in the code.
Launch
The launch was planned in conjunction with the company's marketing department and by aligning the date.
Discovery
The discovery process began with an initial interview with the client, followed by a questionnaire and then a debriefing to clarify any doubts the client may have.
The second stage of the discovery process was benchmarking, where 10 direct and indirect competitors and the company's old website were evaluated. Based on this research, we assessed the common points used and defined an architecture.

Ideation
I worked on narratives with the support of Artificial Intelligence to create a storytelling approach for the page, and I also based my work on studies of competitor company page discoveries to create a content architecture.
This was a collaborative project with the client where we were able to evolve the page structure quickly and iteratively.

Results and lessons learned
Stakeholder management was a challenge, and I could have done more and better aligning expectations to streamline the process.
The launch was a success for the client, who was happy with the company's new positioning.
It would be important to have some indicators from the previous website to make a comparison with the new website; this way we could measure engagement rates.
Considering the current version, we could conduct A/B testing to improve engagement, as well as refine the key performance indicators.

Indicators
Considering organic traffic, engagement increased between December 2024 and February 2025.
